served at 7:00 AM, the participating group members will board
boats with a destination of the west side of Lake Atitlan. On
this jaunt one will see various villages, each with their distinct
flavor, life style and indigenous residents. Since we will be
traveling in a number of boats, there will be no hurry to move on for
those who care to linger a bit, and those seeking other adventures will
be able to push forward. There will be an opportunity to go
horseback riding up trails leading to local monuments, passing through
“coffee fincas”, and numerous small villages, or at
slower pace one can choose to visit the intricate villages scattered
along the lake side. The group will rejoin in San Pedro for
lunch, after which the boats will leave on a short crossing of the
narrow point in the Lake and arrive in Santiago for an afternoon of
sightseeing and shopping.
The boats will return to the hotel for dinner and cocktails.
Night life time in Panajachel is available.
