Day 7 - A Day on the Lake, Free Style

The day begins with breakfast served on the veranda.  Lunch will be available from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM (if you are a bit late, someone will find something for you to eat).  Dinner will be served beginning at 6:30 PM.
On this day, you are the master of your fate, and can by yourself, or in groups of whatever size fits your fancy, choose those activities or places that you might want to revisit (Tikal not on the list), or perhaps try new things for the first time in your life.
In general, there is kayaking, mountain biking, tuk-tuk trips, jaunts on the lake to other villages, or trips to Panajachel or Solola in a van or pickup.  There is shopping, pottery shops, weaving cooperatives, and photo-ops without limit.  For those who are a bit more adventurous, there is hang-gliding (guided where you are the co-pilot), zip-line trips where one is “flying” through the treetops of a forest preserve suspended from steel cables, horseback riding, and if you are a sailor, the hotel’s 21 foot sailboat is always looking to take to the winds.
Or, you just might want to take some of the free time to “kick back” and allow yourself to be pampered by the hotel staff, while doing absolutely NOTHING.  There are lounge chairs, hammocks, views without end, and some of “Nuestros Suenos” (our dreams) waiting to lull you softly as visions of the past days fill your day-dreams.

After dinner, night life time in Panajachel is again available.
